There's no mystery that the guitar has been an instrument of derision within the experimental scene, and that this CD with its recognizably pianistic guitar sounds of strumming and vocal's is in a dimension, a kinda Syd Barret toning way. It is the musical picture of a musician looking toward the future, or could it be the past, one has to think for a moment. This is indead a very interesting album full of "i guess" improvisations where all kinds of folk, avant styles come together,... Topics: guitar, experimental, vocal, avant garde

The new CD, For Film, harshly winds in and out tune after tune. Thius is quite a noisy escapist roam through or to nowhere in particular. The music brings in a nasty atmosphere of a distorted reality, all of this abstraction is a clear sign of the times. We are all marooned on this electronic island, as we approach curves and bends. Darkslider uses various electronic instruments, and doesn't march in line with accepted stuff that most experimental artists convey and use. The music is like... The record is called 'Good Times, For a Change', and the sole track is called 'So For Once In My Life, Just Let Me Get What I Want, God Knows It Would Be The First Time' Inspired by the insanely long work a local Birmingham artist is turning out (her newest work is over 15 hours long, and is still not finished!). Prepare yourself for a long listen.

Esoteric music style in the slow parts and an unreachable droning feeling that could make you trip. This could be perfectly suited as soundtrack for an obscure movie! SIRS creates a world of mysterious ambient sound. I play music alot like this almost constantly, (it's my "spooky music").
Excellent dark music for fans of drone music, ambient electronica and doom. 4 tracks of deliciously dark, mystical, and occult inspired tracks that weave it's way through atmospheric forests and foggy swamps. Minimalistic, bleak, dark, and very haunting....what more do you need?
These pieces are wrapped up and put together using technological niceties, with an outcome that has an eluding landscape. "Version of Reality/Virtuality" is Darkslider heavily inspired sound through a digital realm. Frosty, ambient keyboard drones, perhaps opening a door into an unreal future. i am Esper has managed to combine ambient landscapes with discerning form. Spaces is a rumbling and rolling landscape of field recordings and human element. There is a dark underbelly to all...
I enjoy hearing melodic themes elegantly expressed in drone. The album features determination on the exploration of sound, delving into, what sound "should be." The flow of the album is great. It really does feel like an adventure. This is a album of ambience, noise, glitch, and chill.
DEAD SUMMER SOCIETY is an instrumental one-man gothic/doom metal project from Italy. ”The heart of autumnsphere”, the 2010 demo, is a journey through a liquid dimension which hasn't got any boundaries, excepting those belonging to Dream and Imagination. A soundscape suspended between cold atmospheres and epic outbreaks, whose theme meets with yearning and darkness, nostalgia and dreaming reflections. Holy shit, these guys sound like the Butthole Surfers crossed w/ Jello Biafra. Sid hails from Evanston, IL, USA, and the clean boys from Aarhus, Denmark, finishing up on a succesful tour in europe in may 2010. Recorded over skype, with two computers between denmark and the usa with a sound engineer and event coordinator the boys hit the nail on the head. By the time it was all done, they had recorded the album for your ears to enjoy.
Harsh asthetics, and noise cover this glorious piece of mastery. Obtrusive and deviously cunning licks grinded outn at ferocity and glitchiness goodness. check out the other saucy delights : http://www.myspace.com/duplicitousimages
